About the Community Action Network
The Community Action Network (CAN) is a group of businesses, churches, government, individuals, and social services agencies joining together to meet the needs of this community.
Our primary goal at each meeting is to share information with each other and assist the population with their needs. Our community needs are constant, and our goal is to help those in need; homeless, veterans, elderly, working poor, seniors & youth, young, old and in between! Let’s make a difference – Together we CAN!
*Meetings are on the 4th Thursday of each month. (some exceptions may apply)
Project ID
Every Wednesday On Site From 1 PM to 3 PM
In need of a birth certificate or state ID?
We partner with Project ID to get clients a valid state ID that is required and necessary for employment, housing, medical care, food and so much more. If you are an individual in need of these services, we are open every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm – first come, first serve. Populations that may be in need of these services would be homeless, domestic violence, veterans, low income, disadvantaged youth such as those aging out of the foster care community, and those recently released from prison.
Changing lives, one ID at a time!
If you are an organization that helps the vulnerable community and your clients are in need of proper identification, we would love to assist you as well – but please, call in advance – our limit to organizations is 5 people.
Please give us a call for more information: 623-847-2772.
