The Role of Social Services in Challenging Situations
Life crises such as homelessness, addiction, mental health struggles, or readjusting after incarceration affect entire communities. Individuals in these situations may lack access to essential resources they need, such as funding for treatment, legal assistance, or essential life coaching. By providing holistic care, we help rebuild lives through faith, advocacy, and vetted care partnerships. We aim to meet immediate needs and provide a foundation for lasting transformation by bridging the gap between compassionate individuals like you and people in need. AZJC helps, encourages, and offers tailored social services to veterans, seniors, widows, and more.
How AZJC Serves Communities in the West Valley
Our belief in holistic care and community empowerment is at the heart of our efforts. We combine legal assistance, social services, and life coaching to address the multifaceted struggles faced by those in crisis. Here’s how we make an impact in West Valley communities:

Our housing specialist can help you obtain vouchers, research and potentially settle in a group home, and explore all available accommodations.

If you skip meals or face a shortage at the end of the month, we can help you complete a SNAP application to address food insecurity.

AZJC assists veterans with housing, employment, disability, pensions, and medical benefits. We help you get the benefits you deserve.

We partner with Project ID to help people obtain a valid state identification card for employment, housing, medical care, and more. EVERY WEDNESDAY 1 to 3pm. First come first serve basis.

Our professional counseling services address addictions, stress and anger management, PTSD, forgiveness, and improving communication skills.

We train our advocates to help people overcome addiction and mental health struggles and reintegrate successfully after incarceration.
